The New World is the first of a series of diorama installations collectively titled "Hertopia." In this series, I imagine the evolution of an all-female world located in a lush forested landscape; despite their edenic surroundings, these women constantly engage in power struggles and violent confrontations. In their isolation in this wild "new world," the darker aspects of the women's natures are revealed.
