I offer online workshops that demystify the process of applying for grants. My goal is to help artists as they seek funding to support their art practices.

About me: I've been a working visual artist for 15+ years and I've applied to hundreds of grants and received some too. I've also worked professionally as a fundraiser for arts organizations for more than 15 years, mainly working with foundation and government funders at Los Angeles-based non-profits such as the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), REDCAT and Film Independent, as well as California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). I hope to pass along best practices, tips and tricks to other artists through my workshops.

Upcoming workshops: On June 5, will be offering a two-hour Zoom workshop that discusses best practices for writing artist's statements, an important component of almost every grant application, as well as providing participants with individualized feedback on their artist's statements.

Participants will be asked to send their statements (approx. 300 words) to me no later than two days before the class and we will discuss them as a group during the class. The class size will be limited to a maximum of 5 people. Participants will also be given a packet of grant writing and grant researching resources for future reference.

The price is $40 and the time will be from 10:30am to 12:30pm PST.
